$70.00

Per Family –  ages 0 to 36 months
Four 1.5 hour sessions $70

DATES and TIMES:

  •  MAY MONDAY SESSION May 6, 13, 20, JUN 3 10:00-11:30
Birth Roots is joining the Movement to help families spend more time outdoors connected to nature’s rhythms. (If you are joining this class in May of 2019 you get to be a part of co-creating this program. During this soft launch in May, we ask for your creativity, flexibility, and resourcefulness to help things go well.)
The Baby Roots Toddler Garden features a fenced-in play yard geared to the development of *PRE-preschoolers (toddlers under 36 months) with open-ended, elemental features such as logs & stumps, straw bales, water, mud kitchen and more, for child-led, nature-accessible explorations! Toddlers, Babies and their Grown Ups will gather for an hour-long program with additional time for socializing afterward.
Baby Roots(c) is inspired by N.O.M.E. – the Nordic Outside Model of Education from Scandinavia, the birthplace of Forest Kindergartens, Adventure Playgrounds, natural playscapes, Nature Play, loose parts play, free play, and nature immersion. Baby Roots specifically focuses on a family’s first 10 seasons or first 1000 days.

*The Mudkitchen Mindset: How to Curate Sensory-Rich Habitats for Child-led Exploration
*Tools Not Toys for Toddlers & Babies
*Spotting & Scaffolding Toddlers’ & Babies’ Risky Play
