Throughout the year Birth Roots alumni share with us that they consider the friends they gained through their involvement with Birth Roots among their most cherished gifts of becoming a parent. It is our intention that when new parents meet each other through time spent together in our classes and groups that they will continue to support each other well beyond the gatherings we facilitate. Many families report staying connected for months or even years afterward. If it has been a while since your Flock has gotten together maybe now is the time for putting something on the calendar for January? We’d love an update on the ways your Birth Roots group has continued to be a source of perspective and connection during the first 1000 days of new parenthood!
Tuition to Birth Roots’ classes generate only enough to revenue to cover the cost of delivering that class. In order to fuel a nonprofit community center with free drop-in space, a free Resource Guide, ongoing community education/outreach, offer scholarships to classes, and pay administrative salaries, Birth Roots counts on significant private donor contributions to generate 50% of our annual operating budget. Your tax deductible donation to Birth Roots Center for Community Supported Parenting propels meaningful support beginning in early pregnancy and extending through early parenthood, deepening the Community Roots that strengthen Family Trees.
